The absence of an adequate volume of bone at implant sites requires augmentation procedures before the placement of implants. The aim of this study was to assess ridge width gain following the use of allografts and biphasic β-TCP with hydroxyapatite in ridge split procedures, when each of these is used in small (0.25-1mm) and large particle sizes (1-2mm).
