Persistent endoleaks may lead to adverse events after endovascular aortic repair. We prospectively examined the relationship between intraoperative residual spontaneous echocardiographic contrast (SEC) within the aneurysmal sac and the incidence of postoperative endoleaks in 60 patients undergoing thoracic endovascular aortic repair.
