Fertility And Pregnancy Issues In -Mutated Breast Cancer Patients

Breast cancer is the most frequent malignancy arising in women of reproductive age [1]. Thanks to major advances in oncology practice over the past years, young women with breast cancer have nowadays excellent survival rates [2]. Hence, the maintenance of a good long-term quality of life represents a crucial goal to be accomplished when managing these patients. Among the different side effects of anticancer treatments in this patient population, the possible development of premature ovarian failure (POF) and subsequent infertility are prevalent concerns that add significant anxiety and emotional strain during treatment decision-making [3].
