We report a case of malignant melanoma that transformed from a long-standing, focal, pigmented lesion on the mandibular gingiva and vestibular mucosa, suggesting the potentially malignant nature of focal oral melanotic lesions. (Source: Journal of Taibah University Medical Sciences)
