Abstract
Economic evaluations in the field of psychiatry are still scarce. The article by Simon et al (2018) is unique as it proposes a comparative economic analysis of the association between lamotrigine and quetiapine (first-line treatment) in acute bipolar depression1 . Different economic analyses have already been performed with lamotrigine for disorders such as epilepsy, borderline personality disorder, and Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome.
