Meet Your Neighbor: Hablitzel spreads his generosity

He helped shape the block where the Ida Rupp Public Library sits on Madison and Third streets, and he touched countless lives through his work as a well-loved local dentist, community volunteer and generous philanthropist. Hablitzel, who will turn 99 in December, attended dental school under the stressful circumstances of World War II.
