Stomatitis (oral ulcers), the dose-limiting toxicity of everolimus [1], occurs in up to 59% of patients [2] and is unpredictably relieved by local treatments [3]. Its clinical presentation is close to that of oral ulcers seen in Behçet's disease [3].
