[Comment] Offline: Dr Tedros, Robert Mugabe, and WHO

Oct 18, 2017: "Today I am also honoured to announce that President Mugabe has agreed to serve as a Goodwill Ambassador on NCDs for Africa to influence his peers in his region to prioritise NCDs." Oct 22, 2017: "Over the last few days, I have reflected on my appointment of H.E. President Robert Mugabe as WHO Goodwill Ambassador for NCDs in Africa. As a result I have decided to rescind the appointment." Effective leadership means being prepared to change one's mind. Dr Tedros, WHO's Director-General, did change his mind.
